check fans, radiator
change your radiator cap and your thermostat.
and try and flush out your radiator with a hose, might be clogged. and keep your resivoir filled at the right level.
You need to flow test the whole coolant system. Best way, choose a hose, disconnect it, connect a hose to it so that water can not come out, and see if the water flows through easily. You will need to remove the thermostat to do this. If that works, first thing I would say to do is to replace the thermostat. It is either staying open, or closed, either way, it's bad.
you need a radiator. about $100 if you call around.
Its usually not hard to spot a leak if you look. One thing though, be EXTREMELY carefull with that stuff. Dont ever be tempted to remove the rad cap unless the engine is stone cold. Burns like steam can give you are seriously painfull scarring and possibly fatal.
for a couple bucks you can get a pressure tester it puts the right amount of pressure in the radiator via the cap then just look for the leak if you heard a pop id check the lines going to the heater coil usually on the fiurewall or the return hose right above the lower radiator hose on the water pump
if your bottom hose is leaking you can very easily repair this your self but by all means wait till it cools down before doing any repairs after the vehicle has cooled lay down under the front passenger side of the car look up where you saw the coolant coming from take a flat blade screw driver and remove the bottom hose some times this will take a pair of pliers not a screw driver replace with a new one or if the leak is near the end of the hose just shorting the hose with a sharp knife but be very careful not to get cut this happens to the best of us make sure to retighten the hose clamps good then add one or one and a half gallons of antifreeze and the rest water start the car check for leaks with the radiator cap still off then if no leaks check the radiator with the car running because the engine will take some from the radiator you may need to add more after filled put your radiator cap back on and you should be done p.s. remember never to remove a radiator cap when the engine is hot doing this would cause very very hot water to spray out all over you good luck and be carful.
make sure you have enough radiator fluid. you don't have a body lift do you?? haha
